Biography

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to view my photographs, I enjoy taking them and getting out and about in the wonderful city of Newcastle upon Tyne, where I was born and raised, with it's world famous landmarks, St James Park ( home of my beloved Newcastle United ),  Grey Street voted Britain's most beautiful street and The Quayside on the River Tyne which has been transformed beyond all recognition, with the Baltic Arts centre, The Sage music Venue and just up the road in Gateshead The Angel of the North sculpture by Antony Gormley.
The River Tyne which leads down to the what I consider the most beautiful coastline in the world, head North to Blyth and beyond to Seahouses and The Farne Islands, Dunstanburgh Castle at Craster, Bamburgh and on to Berwick upon Tweed, or head south towards South Shields and Marsden, wonderful.
I also enjoy getting out in the wonderful Northumberland countryside which we are lucky enough to have right on the doorstep, with the likes of Morpeth, Alnwick, Hexham and Corbridge to mention but a few and its abundant wildlife from Red Squirrel to Red Deer.

We are also within an hours drive of the Lake District, Scottish Borders and Yorkshire Dales.
I shoot all my images with my trusty Pentax K10 DSLR, with various lenses and filter's
I,m also a member of Ryton and District Camera Club where I was fortunate to win Photographer of the year Very lucky indeed. Thank you David
